One thing I don't like so much about this lens is the chromatic aberration (purple fringing), which is quite evident. It can be efficiently corrected by software, though.

Flare resistance
One thing I like about the new Panasonic 20 mm f/1.7 is that it is not prone to flare. Contrast and saturation are not significantly degraded when shooting towards the sun, even without a hood.
