Stone bridges
Two photos of stone bridges. The first is for car traffic, in Central Portugal. The second is a train bridge, in the Northwestern region. It was finished in 1878, after 3 years of work. Its 16 arches were built following some techniques inherited from the Romans. They just don't make them like that anymore.
