A viewpoint waiting for Summer

This is a viewpoint overlooking the town of Gouveia, in Central Portugal. That old stone bench is the only place to seat. It looks desolate: it's broken and surrounded by a puddle of water left by the recent rain. But it must feel great to seat there in a Summer late afternoon, under the foliage of that ancient tree.
